Pig fattening on the Sandering farm has now been running for more than four decades. The piglets are purchased from a piglet producer in the region, fattened on the farm and marketed regionally.
The feeding has been going on for many years with a quality feed from the company Bröring, the use of herbs makes the vitality and health as well as the meat valuable in many points.
The farm has also been marketing the pigs ready for slaughter regionally to a butcher's shop in Rehden for more than two years now.
From 2021, the farm will also be active in the area of animal welfare and is planning innovations in the area of pigs.
